Since I was a young boy, I have always loved music.
At the age of 3/5 years I discoverd the first tracks on records and tape.
Strangely enough it all started with classical music, because my
father is a classical music lover.
When I think back, it was the emotions in a track that I loved and in that
periode of my life was it the only kind of music I knew.
When I discovered electronic dance music in the beginning,
I felt totally and completely connected with it.
Inspired by artists like Paul Van Dyk, M.I.K.E. ,
Airwave, Dave Clarke and Carl Cox,
I've wanted to learn the arts of producing and mixing dance music,
although I started with deejaying, producing to me is
more important than only mixing records.
In the past I have allready released tracks under different alter egos
Frequency where more the uplifting classic trance tunes!
The archtect where more the Tech tunes!
and with Derrick Clarcq I have wanted to promote every style!
Like everything envolves! I want to envolve myself to!
Nowadays I try a combination of every style in one track
and for now I will only Use "Derrick Clarcq" as an artist name!
I do still believe that music is building sounds in an artistic construction!
So I am not a producer or DJ but I keep myself busy to combine sounds
in a different mix.
"Architect in Frequencies" is how you can describe it!
